Abstract: Modern technologies have been integrated into medical systems to assist healthcare systems in the areas of real-time disease analysis, remote monitoring, and real-time drug prescriptions, among other things. These technologies have substantially aided in the storage of patients' personal information and symptoms, as well as the quality of healthcare personnel's services. However, the security and privacy of patients have attracted great attention in the healthcare system. Another serious concern in implementing security for patients' medical information is data privacy over the IoMT-based system. Therefore, a steganography model is proposed in this paper to secure IoMT-based medical data and information. Steganography is utilised to conceal private information, to provide security and privacy of medical information. The paper results show high resistance to data loss, and reveal remarkable protection in terms of privacy and security of IoMT-based system. The performance metrics show a better result concerning PSNR (66.45), RMES (0.98245), and MSE (0.8364) respectively.
