Abstract: Energetic and exergetic investigation of a solar powered cogeneration is reported. Results reveal that cycle power generation is increased from 108.12 kW to 112.65 kW and its refrigeration capacity reduces from 9.962 kW to 9.579 kW when oil temperature rises from 433 K to 453 K. The energy efficiency and exergy efficiencies of cogeneration cycle are found to be varied from 14.1% to 18.3% and 10.2% to 13.8%, respectively with a rise in ammonia-water basic solution's concentration from 0.5 to 0.9. About 26.63% of solar exergy is produced as exergetic output.
