Abstract: This study introduces a case in which the DrawTok system, a mobile sharing system that enables more detailed communication and information sharing, is proposed and implemented. DrawTok shares texts and images sent by each mobile device, as well as freehand lines. There is no centralised server for managing shared data, and each mobile terminal stores the same information by using the MQTT protocol. In this study, DrawTok was implemented in Android and iOS devices respectively, and the performance was evaluated by measuring three different times: 1) the time it took for a free curve being drawn to be transmitted between terminals; 2) the drawing time of the recipient; 3) the time it took for a new participant to receive the previously drawn information.
