Abstract: Nowadays, with the emergence of process-oriented perspective and the popularity of the BPM approach among managers and also the efforts of organisations to become agile in a turbulent business environment, organisations are to adapt to environmental conditions and compete in it. It requires great flexibility and organisational agility to improve structures and processes. The purpose of this study is to provide a model for achieving agility in an organisation by emphasising on BPM by considering ERP as a moderating variable. This model can guide organisations in implementing BPM and achieving agility. In this study, 25 steel mills in Isfahan Province were used as statistical sample. A questionnaire was used to measure agility, BPM and ERP. Data analysis showed that BPM has a positive and significant effect on promoting agility of the organisation and ERP moderates this relationship. Then, based on the results, a model is proposed as a roadmap for organisations. This model has been evaluated and modified by Delphi technique in three stages by ten IT experts and finally the proposed modified model has been developed as an example in the steel industry. Structural equation modelling approach and Excel, Smart PLS and SPSS software were used to analyse the statistics.
