Abstract: Today's scenario is totally based on advancement of existing technologies to get more reliable wireless communication. Wireless sensor networks are one of the popular emerging technologies that are deployed commonly in harsh environment. Major dependency of wireless sensor networks is on battery powers. Our mission is to reduce the energy consumption as much as possible. Every routing protocol has been designed for sensor network based on minimum energy consumption. In this paper, LEACH protocol has been modified with various shortest path algorithms to find out the best performance of sensor network. Simulation result shows that LEACH protocol modified with Dijsktra algorithm has performed better among other algorithms.
