Abstract: In order to overcome the problems of low efficiency and accuracy of traditional practical English advantage resource mining methods, this paper proposes a new practical English advantage resource mining method integrating internet of things technology. Use the internet of things technology to guide the focused crawler, obtain the search strategy ACO-FC, collect practical English resources, extract the characteristics of practical English resources, calculate the weight corresponding to the characteristics of English resources through the TF-IDF weight calculation method, and use the class centre vector nearest distance classification algorithm to classify practical English resources, so as to complete the mining of advantageous resources of practical English. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional mining methods, the mining efficiency and mining accuracy of the proposed method are higher, and the maximum mining accuracy can reach 98%.
