Abstract: A novel hydrogen liquefaction cycle integrated with liquefied natural gas regasification and steam methane reforming (SMR) is proposed. The novelty of this study is based on the process integration of three systems. The specific energy consumption (SEC) and the capacity of the optimised case are 6.59 kWh/kgLH2 and 371 tones' per day, respectively. Energy, exergy, and economic analyses are implemented. Additionally, the genetic algorithm (GA) codes are developed to optimise the base case to result in 30% better performance in terms of SEC than the base case.
