Abstract: It is hard to imagine an industry where decision-making under risk plays such important role as it does in agriculture. The importance of a correct and clear decision-making process within risk management is easy to understand, but not so easy to achieve. In agriculture, researchers devote extensive effort to explaining risk probability and impact (damaging effect). Significance of explanation increases with its prioritisation. Therefore, this article focuses on agricultural risks ranking in general. Presented multi-criteria evaluation model is based on fuzzy set theory. The objective is to help farmers evaluate the importance of risks their farms are facing. The model employs an innovative process to replace and transform fuzzy numbers through α-level cuts. The shape and position of replacing fuzzy numbers play a key role in the transformation process of fuzzy numbers.
