Abstract: An examination of the interactions among entrepreneurial physiognomies, employee attitude and the performance of selected SMEs in Lagos State, Nigeria was conducted in this study. A total of 171 SMEs were involved in the survey. The results show that entrepreneurial creativity and employee job involvement have a significant effect on SME performance (r = 0.281, Adjusted R2 = 0.067, p = 0.000 < 0.05); entrepreneurial passion and employee commitment have a significant effect on SME performance (r = 0.278, Adjusted R2 = 0.065, p = 0.000 < 0.05); and entrepreneurial vision and employee job satisfaction also significantly influenced the performance of SMEs (r = 0.281, Adjusted R2 = 0.067, p = 0.000 < 0.05). It can be seen that, all these variables have a significant effect on the performance of SMEs. This research lends credence to existing empirics by establishing the influence of entrepreneurial physiognomies and employee attitude on the performance of SMEs.
