Abstract: In this paper, loaded grounded/conductor backed coplanar waveguide (CBCPW) circular split ring resonator (C-SRR) feed H-shaped electrocardiogram slot radiator (ECG) was designed for ECG monitoring applications. The medical layers like muscles, skin and fat are built for the antenna's bottom side. The designed antenna worked in the medical band of Industrial Scientific (2.36 GHz to 2.48 GHz) and the medical service band of the fifth generation (3.3 GHz to 3.6 GHz). The results of the proposed prototype's return loss and voltage standing wave ratio are -27 dB on 2.4 GHz and -29 dB at 3.5 GHz intended for the H-shaped slot. The performance, gain and direction, and equivalent circuit model of the far-field are presented.
