Abstract: In order to overcome the problem of low accuracy of mechanical performance analysis existing in the traditional performance analysis method of self-compacting recycled concrete filled steel tubular short columns, a new performance analysis method of self-compacting recycled concrete filled steel tubular short columns for buildings is proposed in this paper. According to the stress-strain relationship between steel tube and self-compacting recycled concrete, a combined finite element model is constructed. The performance of short columns is analysed by stress change, Poisson's ratio change and load distribution. The simulation results show that the bearing capacity of the self-compacting recycled concrete filled steel tubular short columns is less different from the actual value, and the mechanical performance analysis accuracy is higher.
