Antecedents influencing usage of green banking practices: a study of Indian banks

Abstract: The goal of this research is to discover and understand the most important elements that influence the use of green banking products and services in Indian banks. Data of 300 respondents from public, private and foreign sector banks who have already used green products and services was undertaken in the year 2021 to achieve this objective, by using the snowball sampling technique. For data analysis and interpretation, SPSS software was used for applying Cronbach alpha, factor analysis, mean and standard deviation techniques. Results revealed that the most influential factors driving the use of green banking practices are environment-friendly approach, green benefits and social welfare.
