International Journal of Agricultural Resources, Governance and Ecology (IJARGE), Vol. 6, No. 1, 2007

Abstract: The objective of the present work is to determine the economic viability of the System for the Reclamation and Reuse of Wastewater (SRRWW) in the village of Colera in Girona, Spain. The methodology applied covers the identification, quantification and economic evaluation of different impacts, private and external, and allows the most beneficial options to be selected. Reusing the reclaimed water produced in Colera to irrigate vineyards generates a maximum benefit of 6.3089 €/m³. If all the SRRWW costs are recovered, the Minimum Price of Sale (MPS) for the regenerated water should be 1.6919 €/m³.
