Improving manufacturing performance through green SCM in Indian manufacturing industries

Abstract: Supply chain management (SCM) is a system which comprises of parties such as manufacturer, supplier, retailer, wholesaler, distributor, in production and delivery services to final consumers in upstream and downstream through physical distribution, the course of info and investments. The study aims at identifying the attributes of green SCM that enhance performance in Indian manufacturing industries. The study critically examines the green SCM factors which affect the strategic success of these organisations. The major concern of this work is to examine, the effect that green SCM has on strategy formation and thus organisation's success.
