A conceptual model integrating key factors of ERP with implementation success: assessment of responses from managers of selected Palestinian industries

Abstract: This paper aims to assess the developed enterprise resource planning (ERP) model and presents qualitative study for exploring its applicability through the verbatim responses gathered from some Palestinian managers in industries. Eight key success factors are assessed for their relations to ERP implementation. Little is known about ERP adoption from the Palestinian perspective. Few researches on ERP deployment was conducted in the developing economy of Palestine. Though, a semi-structured interview comprises four sections was developed and examined by academics so validity can be achieved. Fifteen different managers responses distributed in five industries were interviewed. A thematic analysis was utilised to show findings, which indicated that Palestinian managers have an awareness and knowledge about ERP success factors and the impact influence. Besides, ERP adoption ensures the better return on the enterprises determined investment. This paper is considered as an eye opener for Palestinian managers to practice the ERP system professionally.
