Abstract: The research appraises the empirical evidence from wide-ranging aspects related to digital technologies in banking to provide a classical review and future research directions. The paper consists of a review of 187 research papers published during last three decades on the designated aspects of digital banking technologies. The search strategy used for the review consists of looking for relevant research papers in the literature. The initial method of searching includes the identification of keywords, phrases and search strings related to selected aspects of digital banking. By integrating the findings from previous studies and understanding the current state of knowledge, the study expects to make a significant contribution to the emerging literature in the field. Moreover, the review puts forth the gaps which need to be addressed in contributing to the management issues. From the findings, the bank managers can develop sustainable strategies for the all-inclusive growth of digital banking technologies.
