Abstract: Indian IT industry is one of the world's largest providers of IT and IT enabled services and is making revenue overseas. It represents around 55% market share of US$185-190 billion global services sourcing business. Due to the restrictions on VISA policy put by the USA, Indian IT industry has faced serious concerns. The Indian IT industry has also experienced high turnover rate. Some of the reasons for high attrition rate were job satisfaction, image of the organisation, job security and better compensation options. The mantra for success in today's competitive environment for an organisation is to retain its employees which includes proposing modest compensation (both direct and indirect). This will encourage employees to perform as per the expectation of the organisation. The study made an attempt to understand the relationship between variable compensation, company image and job satisfaction with respect to the Indian IT sector.
