Effect of business characteristics and business capital towards the SMEs success in Bogor City, Indonesia

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and venture capital on business success. The population in this study is the micro small and medium enterprises in the field of agribusiness in the district of Tanah Sareal Bogor City, amounting to 71. Data collection was carried out by interviewing and distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling with the Slovin technique so that from 71 populations 41 respondents are obtained. The data analysis tool uses multiple regressions with the help of software SPSS version 22. The results of the study prove that both simultaneously and partially the characteristics of entrepreneurship and venture capital have a significant and positive effect on the success of micro and small businesses.
