An examination of Jaques' Felt Fair Pay Construct among owners of small to medium sized enterprises in Switzerland

Abstract: This study tests a portion of Jaques' theory of equitable payment using a sample of 330 small to medium sized business owners in Switzerland. Results support Jaques' proposition about who would be satisfied with their pay level and who would be dissatisfied with their pay.
