H control with regional stability constraints for high-speed sampling uncertain systems

Abstract: The problem of H control with regional constraints for polytopic delta operator linear systems is investigated. By the bounded real lemma and constraints on the pole location of systems, a new H performance criterion with regional constraints is presented. Based on the new performance criterion, a sufficient condition for the parameter-dependent H controller is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. And the designed controller can be obtained from the solution of a convex optimisation problem. The proposed design method makes full use of the parameter-dependent approach, which leads to a less conservative controller than conventional design methods. A numerical example is given to test the feasibility of the proposed approach.
