Modelling of power attenuation in optical communication based on Monte Carlo method

Abstract: In order to overcome the problems of poor anti-interference performance and serious power attenuation loss of the existing optical communication power attenuation methods, a new optical communication power attenuation method based on Monte Carlo method is proposed. This method connects the communication link according to the transmission structure of optical communication. In this structure, the power attenuation in the optical communication link is judged by Monte Carlo simulation analysis. The transmission power in the optical communication channel is estimated, the power attenuation controller is installed, the power attenuation coefficient and attenuation are calculated, and the power attenuation controller is used to realise the attenuation control of the optical communication power. The experimental results show that the power attenuation of the proposed method is 11.2 dB less than that of the traditional method, which shows that the proposed method can effectively control the power attenuation of optical communication.
