Abstract: The purpose of the study is to test the moderating effect of size of the institute on ERP usage in Indian higher educational institutes. Technological factors and organisational factors have direct influence on ERP usage. Multiple group modelling was used to determine whether or not the grouping variable, institute's size, has any influence on the structural equation model for the observed variables. There is a void in literature to see the moderating effect of size of the higher educational institutes on ERP success. The key finding of the study proved that size of the higher educational institutes moderates the relationship between technological factors, organisational factors and ERP usage which creates value for the institute. The model can be used as a guideline to ensure a positive outcome from ERP implementation in higher educational institutes. It also provides relevant recommendations to address issues related to ERP success in higher educational institutes.
