An overview of the internationalisation of manufacturing operations: a literature review

Abstract: This present work is a literature review about the internationalisation of operations concept in manufacturing. It proposes a classification of the reviewed papers, and contemplates the aims and contexts, tools and modelling approaches, case studies and the pros and cons the reviewed works identified. The most important aspects of the reviewed studies are discussed and ideas for further research are suggested.
