Abstract: The purpose of this study is econometric modelling of the cost price of livestock weight gain, as well as the determination of factors affecting the cost price. Multiple correlation-regression modelling of the cost price of cattle weight gain by 'farm-years' methods and models was carried out on the basis of panel data of livestock enterprises in the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation for 2009-2017. The most significant factors in terms of influence on the cost price of cattle weight gain are: the cost of one quintal of feed, feed consumption per head of cattle, as well as the productivity of cattle. The results and methods of this study can be applied by officials of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Russian Federation when analysing the economic indicators of enterprises in the agro-industrial complex and developing federal and regional strategies and tactics for the development of the agro-industrial complex.
