Abstract: Supply chain management has become one of the fastest-growing areas of commercial intelligence application, and TFT-LCD is the next highlight in Taiwan after the rise of the semi-conductors. By combining the international supply chain management in the TFT-LCD industry to integrate its upstream and downstream supply chains, the core competitiveness of the enterprises can be upgraded. This paper proposes a vertical integration model for international supply chains and discovers the best solution in order to achieve the optimum profit. The system integrates factors such as hierarchical BOMs, transfer pricing, taxes, changes in demands, etc., and it can support international enterprises in dynamic environments to attain the optimal output allocation, production, and distribution decisions to maximise their profits. The system interface is structured around WebGIS (geographic information system). It connects models, data, and maps so that users can search, update and perform optimisation within the supply chain as necessary.
