Abstract: This paper analyses the values and effects of corporate social responsibility practices on organisational competitive advantage. The survey was sent to 869 respondents at different levels of management in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province to collect opinions on corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and their influence on organisational competitive advantage. The data are analysed using the SmartPLS technique to draw conclusions about the impact of CSR factors on organisational competitive advantage. The results indicate that there are four main impact variables - economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic CSR factors - that strongly affect organisational competitive advantage, whereas environmental CSR does not affect competitive advantage. Based on the findings, organisations have different options to decide which types of CSR are suitable for their business activities.
