Abstract: In order to overcome the problem that the current method cannot accurately calculate the axial bearing capacity of epoxy composite, this paper proposes a calculation method for the axial bearing capacity of epoxy composite based on the pull rod-arch model. Based on the pull rod-arch model, the damage constitutive model of the epoxy composite is constructed, including the continuous damage constitutive model and the plastic hardening equation. Combined with the edge yield criterion and the Euler formula, the bearing capacity of the epoxy composite is calculated. The axial bearing capacity of the epoxy composite is calculated by the finite element method. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high accuracy, short time and reliability.
