Abstract: In general the problem-solving strategies used in heuristic approaches are different compared to conventional algorithms. They differ in handling the issues in different operating conditions thereby it enhances the overall performance of the system. In this research paper we have also implemented a heuristic scheduling approach in cloud computing environment to improve the energy efficiency. Since cloud needs a better scheduling module for intense data applications this proposed priority-based energy efficient multi queue heuristic scheduling model is suitable and provides efficient scheduling with minimum energy. Experimental results are compared with greedy and load balancing scheduler algorithms to prove that proposed model achieves 93.45% of energy efficiency.
