Maturity evaluation of supply chain procedures by combining SCOR and PST models

Abstract: In today's global market, supply chain management is a key competitive advantage for companies. Strategic aspects of the supply chain management make it distinguished from other areas of management. Since the supply chain is considered as a crucial element for the success of the company, the evaluation of its performance will be particularly important. Today, companies use various models to assess supply chain performance such as maturity models. Maturity models are used as the basis for the evaluation and comparison of improvement. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the maturity of supply chain processes using a novel approach. To achieve this goal, review of the literature is done related to the supply chain, process of maturity and maturity models that are proposed in this area. Thereafter a comprehensive model is provided. It continues to assess and discuss the maturity of supply chain processes in a number of Iranian companies.
