Abstract: The purpose of this study is prioritising and identifying existing studies and literature of the truck sharing economy concept and finding literature gap on the sharing economy concept in general. The literature classification was conducted by adopting the framework of classification based on the context of the study, intervention of study implication in practical, and the methodology. Existing literature indicates that the discussion of sharing economy topics have been carried out from the perspective of social problems that arise in transportation. This research identified that there are gaps in the existing studies such as a very limited study of truck sharing economy where the discussion about truck sharing related has been limited to challenges and technical problem. There is also a strong indication that modelling-based approach both in micro and macro perspective such as system dynamics and agent-based modelling have not been considered widely on this context topic research.
