Abstract: The study is focused on the evaluation of total quality management (TQM) in the pharmaceutical companies of Pakistan and the effect that it produces. After thorough literature review, seven hypotheses were postulated comprising of nine variables encompassing TQM elements. A survey-based quantitative approach was utilised in which primary data was collected through self-administered questionnaires. Out of 350 questionnaires circulated, 301 responses were received that were used for the data analysis. The collected data was analysed using PLS-SEM and results were statistically evaluated. The investigation concluded that quality culture creates a chain effect that greatly improves performance of a company. It was also concluded that the proposed hypotheses are positively supported and that the implementation of TQM elements bring about positive changes in the overall performance of the pharmaceutical industry of Pakistan.
