The role of lean sustainable logistics in business operations

Abstract: This study aims to investigate and analyse the relationship of lean sustainable logistics (LSL), which proposed to improve and implement organisation for sustainability business. The statistical results are analysed by bibliometric analysis and correlation analysis in order to examine the relationship between three keywords: sustainable development, lean concept and logistics management. Their relationships are measured via co-word analysis and Pearson's correlation coefficient to analyse role of LSL and develop business operations for sustainability, respectively. Then, a cause-and-effect relationship is created via causal linkage for analysing positive and negative effects of these concepts. There are three dimensions - economic, environmental and social - that play an important role to develop business operations for sustainability. Business should be concerned transfer knowledge to society that lack of consideration. This issue is a critical point to cultivate values with economic growth and environmental impacts for business sustainability in long-term development.
