Abstract: According to the statistics of National Council on Aging (NCOA) nowadays, the rate of death among old-aged people has reached a critical state that, for every 11 seconds an older adult is being treated for a fall and for every 19 minutes a death is reported. Hence, it is obvious that an innovation is required to detect these falls in the elderly to provide them timely treatment. We have built a wearable device for the fall detection. The wearable device can detect falls indoor and outdoor. Also, we provide exact location of fall, health attributes of the user to the caretaker and with hospital suggestions. Indoor localisation is also implemented. Importantly, without any wearables or camera, the rest room falls have been identified in an innovative yet economical way.
