Abstract: Recently chaos synchronisation together with chaotic secure communication has gained raising consideration and immense interest. Thanks to perfect aspects of chaos theory, synchronisation of chaotic systems has obtained substantial developments and has been well scrutinised for potential applications in several engineering fields. In this paper, we propose a novel procedure which selects qualified chaotic systems in a chaotic secure communication scheme with proportional integral observer (PI-observer) configuration. According to this method and offered criterion, we peruse the autocorrelations of chaotic maps in order to employ the ones with swift synchronisation time in the PI-observer based receiver. Various chaotic classes have been hired and the simulation results confirm the triumph of the method.
