Abstract: This paper mainly studies the related properties of PHBHOx as an osteochondral integrated tissue engineering scaffold, as well as the extraction and in vitro culture of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and the composite culture with scaffolds. In order to study the effect of PHBHOx/collagen integrated osteochondral scaffold on the recovery of osteochondral faults in knee weight-bearing area, three experimental groups were established and animal models were established. An external fixator was placed on the right femur in all experimental animals. The scaffold + cell group was implanted with a scaffold-BMSCs complex; the simple scaffold group was implanted with a PHBHOx/collagen integrated osteochondral scaffold after modelling; the control group was not provided with a scaffold. The animals were grossly observed at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, and 12 weeks after operation. ICRS cartilage repair gross score, HE staining, safranin O staining, and type B collagen immunohistochemical staining were used. Score, and make a comprehensive assessment of the repair effect of osteochondral defect. Collagen-based bone material has a good effect in repairing articular cartilage damage, and can reduce the occurrence of complications. The mechanism may be related to effective relief and improvement of joint function.
