International Journal of Sensor Networks (IJSNET), Vol. 35, No. 3, 2021

Abstract: It is the policy of Inderscience Publishers to retract from publication any paper if, subsequent to publication, it becomes a matter of dispute regarding intellectual property, publishing ethics or legal issues. Each case is judged according to individual circumstances. In this case, the author's (Hocine Chebi) work, 'Novel greedy grid-voting algorithm for optimisation placement of multi-camera', has some substantial similarities with a work by M. S. Sumi Suresh , Athi Narayanan, and Vivek Menon,'Maximizing Camera Coverage in Multicamera Surveillance Networks' published in IEEE Sensors Journal, Vol. 20, No. 17, September 1, 2020, which deems it liable to conflict and ethical dispute. This paper has therefore been retracted.
