International Journal of Nuclear Hydrogen Production and Applications (IJNHPA), Vol. 1, No. 2, 2006

Abstract: This paper describes the current situation in China and the reasons for the rapidly increasing consumption of oil and the consequent search for new sources. Some suggestions are made for the rapid development and commercialisation of hydrogen energy systems in China using domestic resources. China could satisfy the energy demand with her domestic resources of renewable energies and depending on her own domestic scientific, technological and personal resources, etc. This could help remove the misgivings of other countries and reduce worries about oil prices.
