Abstract: Wireless sensor network performance degrades due to fast energy consumption. The energy deplete quickly due to acknowledgement signal, encryption and decryption process. Hence, in this paper, an enhanced elliptic curve logic discrete algorithm (EECLDSA) applies to improve security with consideration to power consumption. A secure energy efficient network priority routing (SEENPR) implement for effective data collection and key management in WSNs. The SEENPR comprises of K-means algorithm to enhance cluster head (CH) selection with Euclidean distance. The objective is to enhance security for operative data gathering in WSNs. The EECLDSA provides key management to each CH. The simulation outcomes show the proposed EECLDSA algorithm consume 40% less power for data security compared to conventional system. Furthermore, the network performance evaluates in terms of network parameters such as delay, energy consumption, throughput, packet delivery ratio (PDR), accuracy, computation overhead and scalability.
