Abstract: This study was carried out with the aim of validation of Emotion Awareness Questionnaire (EAQ) for Iranian students. Participants (700 children, 9 to 16-years-old) Children Depression Inventory (CDI), Worry Inventory for Children (WIC) were administered to investigate the convergent validity. The reliability was checked by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, the validity was calculated with factor analysis by the method of analysis of principal component. Exploratory factorial analysis by using varimax rotation indicated a robust seven-factor structure in the questionnaire correlation coefficient between total score of EAQ, CDI and WIC was significant. EAQ has appropriate validity and reliability for the population of Iranian Students and the findings revealed the significant advantage for further investigation.
