Abstract: At present, manufacturers are highly focusing on implementing green practices across supply chains due to immense pressure from the government as well as environmental agencies. However, the effective implementation of green practices is not an easy task. Therefore, the present paper aimed to study and analyse a range of critical metrics of green supply chain practices and performance management concerning manufacturing industries in the Indian context. This study scrutinises a range of metrics and sub-elements through a brief review of peer-reviewed journals and interviews with experienced professionals of selected industrial and academic bodies. A total of eight metrics and 31 sub-elements were identified, and they compared against three industrial categories, such as private, government, and semi-government firms. Fuzzy analytical hierarchy process is used to analyse and rank the identified critical metrics. The study suggests supply chain managers that the critical drivers need to be reviewed conscientiously for achieving sustainability in green supply chain practices and performance management.
