Evaluating small firms' performance through entrepreneurial competencies

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between Bahraini small firms' performance (ROS&ROI) and the competencies of entrepreneurs (relationship competencies, organising competencies and commitment competencies). Data was collected from 150 respondents from various firms in the Bahrain in the period of 2018. Results showed that there is a positive relationship between opportunity competencies of entrepreneur and ROS only at Bahraini' firms. On other hand the results also showed that there is a positive relationship but not significant between the other competencies and ROS&ROI in Bahraini firms.
