Abstract: With the advent of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), enterprises of different sizes are exploring SOA-based business integration solutions. However, results of using a business or IT service can be nondeterministic, i.e., one cannot predict a priori the execution outcomes of a business or IT service. In this paper, we propose a framework for service-oriented business integration under uncertainties. In this framework, we describe how to achieve better business integration results by composing a set of business and IT services using a service composition model with uncertainties. The framework further discusses how to establish and maintain a service composition model with uncertainties.
