Visualising legal information: mind maps and e-government

Abstract: E-government websites represent legal information predominantly in textual form. Given the potential of the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to visualise information, this is astonishing. This paper adopts an innovative, multidisciplinary approach and a case study to demonstrate that mind mapping legal information would enhance its representation for the greater benefit of e-government users.
