Does happiness at work lead to organisation citizenship behaviour with mediating role of organisation learning capacity? A gender perspective study of educational institutes in Sialkot, Pakistan

Abstract: This paper explores the factors that promote for organisation learning capacity in education sector by examines teacher's happiness and its impact on organisation citizenship behaviour at Sialkot, Pakistan. The random sampling technique was applied to source the information from the public and private sector college/university teachers reside at Sialkot. The research exploited self-administered questionnaire techniques to collect data from 329 teachers in order to explore their organisation behaviour. A result shows that female teachers have happier attitude as compared to male teachers and female teachers are showing more citizenship behaviour as compared to male teachers in educational institution. Results of this research work confirmed that happiness at work has significant impact on organisation citizenship behaviour of teachers with fully mediating effects on organisation learning capacity with gender perspectives. Happiness at work has direct positive impact on organisation citizenship behaviour of teachers in education sector.
