Abstract: A magnetic interaction and magnetisation reversal study at room temperature in hybrid magnets of strontium ferrite and Magnequench MQP-Q alloy were carried out. The evolution of the DCD reversible (Mrev) and irreversible (Mirr) magnetisation components during the magnetisation and the demagnetisation processes was determined. Mrev(Mirr)Hi curves were built, being Hi the internal field of the sample. The experimental behaviour of the Mrev(Mirr)Hi curves suggests the existence of a complex non-uniform mechanism for the magnetisation reversal in these materials. Henkel plots showed a notable predominance of the demagnetising-like magnetostatic interactions. Moving Preisach parameter km was determined. km is found to be a function of Hi. The behaviour of this function is discussed.
