Abstract: In the past and in the present, the natural bridge between University and Company has been maintained by those who have graduated and have stepped into the productive sphere, and by the investigation and development generated by the University. Within the National Technological University (UTN) arises as answer to these necessities a new curricular design that tries to obtain among other points the update of the criteria for the formation of the engineer, to increase the motivation in the educative community, to diminish the desertion and to facilitate the work insertion of the graduated. In the present work, the personal experience obtained at evaluation of a subject of Metallurgical Engineering is developed. This is accomplished through the evaluation of the activities proposed in the subject to prepare professionals according to work market exigencies.
