Abstract: In this paper, we will describe how to perform Data Acquisition and Stream Processing using MATLAB® and Tools development environment. In particular, the aim is data acquisition from input external devices connected to the PC, stream processing (live visualisation on virtual oscilloscope and storage into a text file) and send data over other output external devices. The data exchange with external devices is achieved using the Data Acquisition Toolbox™ the stream processing with the DSP System Toolbox™ using the powerful System Objects. The argument is of a significance importance in order to design consumer electronics devices with advanced performances.
