The relationship of leadership qualities and professional ideas among teachers of the additional education system

Abstract: The article is devoted to the relationship between leadership qualities and the professional ideas among the teachers of additional educational system. A theoretical consideration and analysis of the concepts of 'leadership' and 'professional ideas' was carried out, and classification of leadership's theories in relation to the education system was performed. The significance of the investigated categories for the effective professional functioning of teachers in the system of additional education was actualised. The conclusions regarding the existence of interrelation between the investigated phenomena and differences in the identified relationships between groups of respondents with average and high level leadership qualities development are made.
