Abstract: Based on grey theory, the analytical model of the driving factors is established for the coordinated development of agricultural modernisation, industrialisation and urbanisation in Central China. Then the affecting factors are introduced for agricultural modernisation, industrialisation and urbanisation by the grey correlation analytical method. With six provinces of Central China for example, the affecting factors of development and the coordinated development degree of three modernisations were calculated and compared. Furthermore, the driving force and correlation degree are analysed for the coordinated development of agricultural modernisation, industrialisation and urbanisation. It aims to discover the powerful driving factors and provide a scientific basis for the formulation of some related policies for the government.
