International Journal of Sustainable Materials and Structural Systems (IJSMSS), Vol. 3, No. 3/4, 2018

Abstract: In this paper the implications of the use of interval analysis are studied in regards to the decision making process on the safety of the structure. It is shown that the conclusions derived by application of the standard interval analysis about the structural safety may be misleading in some cases.
